Launch of the Quantum 326 at PLASA London 2024

1
We are thrilled to introduce the compact, dual-screen Quantum 326 at PLASA London this September! This innovative console retains the powerful processing capabilities of the acclaimed Quantum338, now in a more streamlined design.

Since its debut at the 2020 NAMM Show, where it captivated a crowd of eager attendees, the Quantum338 has achieved remarkable success worldwide, becoming a favorite for both touring productions and fixed installations. Recognizing the demand for a more compact solution without sacrificing functionality, DiGiCo has developed the Quantum326, perfectly suited for venues with limited space.

DiGiCo Managing Director Austin Freshwater shares, “Many audio professionals have requested a smaller version of the Quantum338 that maintains its comprehensive feature set. Our R&D team has delivered exactly that. While the Quantum326 features one less screen and twelve fewer faders, it embodies the same powerful, versatile, and robust capabilities as its larger counterpart, making it an ideal choice for smaller performance spaces and touring productions with tighter logistical constraints.”

The Quantum326 represents a significant advancement in power and connectivity. Leveraging cutting-edge seventh-generation FPGAs, this new mixing console boasts 128 input channels, 64 busses, and a 24×24 matrix, all with full channel processing. It features twenty-six 100mm touch-sensitive faders arranged in two blocks of 12 fader banks, along with two user-assignable faders equipped with high-resolution metering. The console is complemented by dual 17-inch, 1000-nit high-brightness multi-touch screens and 58 individual TFT channel displays.

Additional highlights include “Ultimate Stadius” 32-bit ADC and DAC conversion, six single MADI connections, dual DMI slots, and much more.

For those looking to enhance their experience further, the Quantum326 can be upgraded with DiGiCo’s optional Pulse software update, expanding its capabilities to 156 standard input channels (up from 128), 72 busses (up from 64), and increasing Mustard Processors to 48 (from 36) and Nodal Processors to 72 (from 64). The Pulse upgrade also introduces Mix Minus functionality.

For theatrical applications, we are pleased to offer the Quantum326T version, equipped with our specialized theatre software package and the Pulse upgrade pre-installed as standard. This model provides an impressive 36×36 Matrix, tailored for the unique needs of theatre productions.

Join us at PLASA London to experience the future of audio mixing with the Quantum326!
