The projection component of the installation was implemented with the collaboration of Sound Creations (equipment supply and technical control) and Yastreb Sound (installation and equipment testing).

The exhibition highlights crucial moments in Central Asian history associated with Jadidism, a progressive movement that emerged in the early 20th century. By employing an interactive format that incorporates visual and auditory elements, the installation is designed to be accessible to a diverse audience, featuring presentations in three languages. Attendees will have the chance to view rare archival materials—letters, articles, and photographs—many of which are being showcased for the first time, providing valuable insights into the significance of this cultural legacy in today's society.

At the core of the exhibition is the goal of utilizing modern technology to convey knowledge about the Jadids and their contributions to educational reform, thereby modernizing historical education. The exhibition particularly targets youth, aiming to make information about Jadidism engaging and relatable for all generations. Gayané Umérova, chair of the Uzbekistan Culture and Arts Development Fund, emphasizes the initiative's mission to raise awareness of Jadidism's importance and its contemporary relevance, enriching cultural and educational exchanges across communities.

For the image projection in this installation, various models of Barco projectors were utilized, including the G60-W7, G62-W9, G62-W14, and G100-W22. Thanks to the free proprietary software, Barco Projector Toolset, installation, configuration, and management of all projectors can be conducted remotely from the operator's computer. This software also enables projection onto geometrically complex surfaces (such as cubes and angled walls) and facilitates the overlapping and stitching of images from multiple projectors.

The high installation flexibility of the Barco G-series projectors allowed for the full realization of the project authors' vision. These projectors can rotate their projection axis by 360 degrees, support portrait mode, and correct trapezoidal distortions both vertically and horizontally. All projectors were mounted on the ceiling using brackets, while some were positioned on the side for portrait mode projection. The use of rear-projection lenses enabled the projectors to be placed at minimal distances from the walls, significantly reducing shadows and noise from viewers.

Another advantage of Barco projectors is their low noise level—only 36 dB at an ambient temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. This is particularly important for multi-projector installation as "Jadids" is, where even minor background sounds can distract viewers and disrupt the dramatic atmosphere.

The Barco G-series projectors deliver rich color reproduction and high image quality, greatly enhancing the visual impact of the exhibition and creating an unforgettable experience for viewers. The client chose Barco, confident in the high quality of products from one of the leaders in projection solutions. Barco technologies are known for their reliability and efficiency, and the wide range of products allows for the creation of optimal configurations for multimedia installations. The museum's technical staff appreciates the simplicity and ease of maintenance of Barco projectors, which played a crucial role in selecting this brand.

Spanning over 1,400 square meters, the "Jadids: Letters to Turkestan" exhibition is designed to captivate a wide audience interested in the region's cultural and historical heritage. It is envisioned as a long-term project that will undergo regular updates and improvements, ensuring its ongoing relevance and appeal.

Organizers report that the exhibition has successfully achieved its objectives. Stakeholders express satisfaction with the results, as an informative and engaging platform has been established for exploring the significance of Jadidism. The exhibition not only facilitates efficient education but also fosters a greater interest in cultural exchange. Positive feedback from visitors, increasing attendance figures, and enthusiastic participation from young audiences underscore the installation's success and its vital role in promoting public discourse about the region's rich cultural heritage.
