Ayrton RawBeam 350 — a laser beam fixture with a zoom range up to 45°

1

A new balance of power and control in the class of narrow-beam fixtures

Ayrton officially introduces RawBeam 350 — a new ultra-compact moving-head fixture with a laser light source. The new model continues the development of Ayrton’s beam solutions and takes a more versatile position in the line thanks to its wide beam angle range, allowing RawBeam 350 to operate not only as a beam fixture, but also as a fully capable spot fixture.

RawBeam 350 is designed for concert tours, festivals, television productions and architectural projects where high light output, precise optics and application flexibility are essential.

The widest beam angle range among Ayrton beam solutions

The key advantage of RawBeam 350 is its operation span from 1.1° to 45° and 40x zoom range. For a beam fixture, this is an important shift: it can operate as an extremely narrow, bright and concentrated beam, and, when needed, transition to wider scenic forms and perform as a fully capable spot fixture.

This range makes RawBeam 350 a versatile beam/spot tool. In a single fixture, a lighting designer gets both a graphic beam for aerial effects and a wider output for building scenic space — without changing the type of equipment.

Compact housing for tours and installations

RawBeam 350 weighs 25.4 kg and is among the lightest fixtures in its class. For rental companies and touring projects, this directly affects rigging speed, transport convenience and work with suspended structures.

The housing is built to IP65 protection class, which allows the fixture to be used not only indoors, but also on outdoor stages. This expands the range of applications for RawBeam 350: from concert tours and festivals to architectural projects and permanent installations.

Brightness, optics and beam density

RawBeam 350 delivers illuminance of up to 1,340,000 lux at 10 metres. At the heart of its optical system are a 160 mm front lens and a 13-lens construction.

This combination gives the fixture a dense, readable and highly controllable light output. The optics provide high light concentration and maintain image sharpness across the entire operating range of the fixture.

Colour and light control

RawBeam 350 features a CMY colour-mixing system with an ultra-fast gradient CTO on discs, enabling precise work with colour temperature and colour reproduction. A wheel of 15 complementary colours, a CTB correction filter and an RGB–CMY colour animation section expand the fixture’s colour toolkit.

This is especially important for television, stage and architectural projects, where light needs to remain not only bright, but also accurate, stable and predictable in colour.

Graphics and effects

RawBeam 350 offers a wide range of graphic tools, including 10 rotating gobos, 25 fixed gobos, four beam reducers and an animation wheel for sculpting the light. The gobos can be combined with two sets of three combinable rotating image-multiplying prisms, while two frost filters complete the graphic toolkit.

Together, these tools allow lighting designers to create complex volumetric effects with depth, movement, texture and strong visual dynamics in space.

RawBeam 350 sets a new balance between characteristics that are not always easy to combine in a single fixture: compactness, high brightness, a wide zoom range, IP65 protection and a rich set of graphic tools.

RawBeam 350 is ready for prompt shipment from the manufacturer’s stock for your projects.
