Falconer is Ayrton’s remote followspot control system, designed to give operators precise, fluid control of moving lights from a dedicated base station. Its broadcast-style fluid head, ergonomic handles and 18.5-inch Full HD touchscreen make it possible to follow performers without operating from the fixture position. The camera feed can come from an Ayrton fixture with an integrated camera, such as EagleStrike, or from the separate Ayrton Horus camera. Falconer can work as a standalone solution or alongside a lighting console. The system supports an unlimited patch, with up to 36 active fixtures recommended, and uses four-point calibration in true 3D space. Video output: NDI.
